◎ Use of the
EUIJ-Kansai Library
Eligibility for Use:
- Undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in the Certificates in European Union Studies programs offered by Kobe University, Osaka University and Kwansei Gakuin University
- Teachers in charge of the Certificates in European Union Studies programmes offered by Kobe University, Kwansei Gakuin University and Osaka University, and joint researchers
- Users of the Kwansei Gakuin University Library
Application for Use:
- Undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at Kobe University or Osaka University are requested to present ‘a copy of a registration form for the Certificates in European Union Studies programmes with the seal of the administration department at the respective universities’ to the Kwansei Gakuin University Library in order to receive an issued library card
- Teachers and researchers at Kobe University or Osaka University are requested to present an ID card issued by their university to the Kwansei Gakuin University Library in order to receive an issued library card
* The term of validity of a library card is in principle within the period of enrollment
* Be sure to present a library card when using the Library
Services Available:
- Browsing of books and materials in the Library
- Checking out of books and materials
- Copying of materials within the scope of the Copyright Act
- Use of audiovisual materials in the Library
* Materials held in the Kwansei Gakuin University Library may be used in a similar manner
Number of books which may be borrowed and lending period:
- Undergraduate and graduate students: up to three books for up to 14 days
- Teachers and researchers: up to ten books for up to 30 days
* The Kwansei Gakuin University Library Usage Regulations are applied to the number of books which can be checked out and the lending period for users of the Kwansei Gakuin University Library

EUIJ-Kansai / University Library Inter-Availability Agreement:
Libraries of EUIJ-Kansai-member universities, Kobe University, Kwansei Gakuin University and Osaka University, concluded the ‘EUIJ-Kansai / University Library Inter-Availability Agreement’ on 22 September 2005 in order to contribute to the educational and research activities practiced by EUIJ-Kansai. On 22 September 2008, Extension of this Agreement up to 31 March 2013 was signed.
According to this Agreement, teachers in charge of lectures and joint researchers as well as undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in the Certificates in European Union Studies programs under the system of credit interchangeability between three universities can use the libraries of three universities from 1 October 2005.
